Educational Technology - (Grades 3-5)
Standard 5
Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom. (3, 4)

ISTE Standards for Students
Creative Communicator
I communicate effectively and express myself creatively using different tools, styles, formats, and digital media.

For this activity students will learn how to use their imagination to make a book that explains something, such as misbehaving, an adventure, or even a mystery. Story bird is very easy to use and can help students make amazing books. This is a tool that can be used by a teacher to either show students how to make a book or to explain a new  subject with students to help them get a new objective. It can also be just a fun website to let students just explore and to see what kind of stories they can come up with on their own. This tool really can let someones imagination go wild.

Here is an example of a book: The Misbehaving Little Hedgehog.
